I have to redo the routine over again (which is quite frustrating). The downside of this e/s base is that it dries quickly which makes it very hard to blend. It makes my eyeshadow look more vibrant and a bit more shimmery (but nothing disco ball or anything just the right amount of shimmers). If you want your eyeshadow to last on you the whole day, this product is to go for. but i love the scent! haha ) Perhaps it is half the price of the infamous Urban Decay Primer, Artdeco eyeshadow base is a very good alternative. This has a strong scent (reminds me of insect repellant. The color is shimmery muted beige when applied. The jar is pot itself is really small (just 5ml) and seems as if it would not last me for a month but a little goes a very long way. They have some really unique colours.ĬONS: Mattes are not my favorite finish by MAC they're generally a bit harder to blend than the other MAC textures in eyeshadow.This is my first ever eyeshadow primer. (depending on which "finish" you buy.) Lasts quite well on my eye and in the package (had my same two colors of MAC shadow for years). Second, they have a great selection of colours to choose from and are always adding limited edition colours to the range so that even those of us who have been collecting for ages don't run out of new ones to try!
